[Someone else seemed lost in the fog. . .and he seemed absolutely frantic over it. Not over himself however, but for someone else.]

". . .JUUDAIME!! JUUDAIME!!"

[The cries were loud, and there was a noticeable trill of fear in them. He sounded almost as if he were in tears. . .]

". . . J-Juudaime. . I don't. . . don't leave me. . .W-Where. . .!!" 

[Those were definitely some sobs now. Something was very clearly wrong, here. . .]

[There was quite suddenly two of them, the new Gokudera with a feline at his side and a gun aimed at the other.]

" . . . I think you've said enough."

[. . . someone did not seem to amused.]

{Takeshi stepped back and looked between them in shock. He wasn't sure how to handle this...but he was beginning to understand what everyone had been mentioning about concerning occurrences on Kunpuu.}

[His gun is still steadily aimed at the 'other' Gokudera.]

[Gokudera glances over at Yamamoto a moment with a frown. He's not sure what was said, but he was getting a rather bad feeling about it regardless. His attention went back to the Shadow, still not looking too amused.]

". . . I seriously doubt it."

<[The Shadow just smirks, his attention fully on Gokudera now. The smirk seemed rather malicious in all honesty.]

". . . 'I don't deserve to be with them.'. . . 'Why do I always fail at everything? Yamamoto is every thing I can never be. He's so perfect. . .'. . . 'Why haven't they thrown me out like everyone else has. . .' . . . 'I don't want to be rejected any more. . . I don't want to be alone like before. . .' I know, Gokudera Hayato. I know everything about you. . . Because I am you. I know what it's like. I've always been there. All the times you've been rejected, all the times you've wished you could hat--">

"SHUT UP!" [His grip on the gun was actually wavering now, and he seemed incredibly bothered by the things being said.]

<". . .He should have been. . . Juudaime's right hand man. . . They both would be so much better off without me. . . I just. . .can't let go. . . I'm so selfi--"

[He didn't seem too terribly bothered when a bullet suddenly went through him. The wound merely faded, as if it had never been there to begin with.]>

{Takeshi watched horrified as Gokudera shot at himself.}

H-Hayato be careful with--!

{He doesn't know how to help you even though he's sure which one is really you by now.}

. . .and you thought Uri was bad. . .

<[The Shadow just smirked a little, patting the area where he'd been shot.]

". . . Why don't you just admit it? We're both the same person. There's no sense in keeping me down all the time. . . Shouldn't you just be honest with yourself, Hayato?">

"YOU'RE NOT ME!"

<[When the voice spoke again, it was distorted oddly - in an almost dark manner.]

". . . Oh? . . . Well, I guess I don't really need the useless part of me anymore anyways."

[. . . Quite suddenly, it's not looking so much like Gokudera anymore. It seems to be a large black cat - a bit bigger than Uri's other form. The ears were tattered and there were red flames swirling about it. It seemed that Gokudera's rejection is what caused it to distort this way. At any rate, the Shadow!Feline is now launching itself at Gokudera - clearly having every intention of killing him.]>

{Takeshi didn't hesitate to draw his sword and attempt to cut down the feline monster.}

<[The large feline lifted a paw with every intention of just knocking you out of the way. In it's opinion, this had nothing to do with you anyways. . .]>

[. . . But Gokudera didn't seem alright with the idea of the feline hitting you, so he's going to place himself in the way, pulling out some dynamite in the process to toss at the cat. Of course, this only ended with Gokudera being hit with the large paw. . .and sent flying back towards Yamamoto with a yelp.]

<[The feline yowled angrily at the dynamite, but other than mild irritation, it didn't seem to do much damage. . .]

" . . . Pathetic! But that's no different from any other time, right Hayato?">

{Takeshi wrapped himself around Gokudera from behind as they fell backwards protecting his partner from the worst of the impact. Unfortunately the added weight made it harder to control his landing and his head hit against the road with a slight crack.}

"Don't listen to it."

" . . T-Takeshi. . .!!" [He was trying to shift around to make sure you were alright. . . But he wouldn't really be given much of a chance. . . ]

<[. . . as the large feline was advancing on them, the wind about them suddenly picking up to an almost dangerous degree.]

". . . Yes, just continue denying everything that I am. . . But even if you try. . .You know, don't you?">

{His head swam as he tried to focus on the fight and tell you he would be fine.}

" . .Dammit. . ." [He stands after a moment, the wind nearly taking him off his feet. . . But regardless. . . He's got someone he needs to protect now. . .]

" . . Uri. . C'mon. . Let's take care of this fake. . ."

[The smaller feline just looks up at him, then to the large feline. . . But. . . he doesn't come to Gokudera's side. He only sits, watching him expectantly.]

<[The Shadow can't help but laugh at this, finding it all rather pathetic.]

". . . Even Uri thinks you're nothing more than a failure! Not even worth his assistance!"

[He's pulling back that large paw again, with every intention of smashing his other self under it. . .]>

{Weakly Takeshi summons Kojirou to distract the cat, but she only drops to sit on the monster's head and peck itjust once...almost affectionately.

Weakly he tried to sit up and raise his sword but somehow his body isn't cooperating with his commands.}

[The small peck had at least distracted the large feline enough for Gokudera to scramble out of the way, the large paw slamming into the ground where he was a moment ago. The shock of the large paw hitting the ground, unfortunately, was enough for Gokudera to lose his balance, stumbling to the ground. The paw swept out again towards the fallen male, slamming into him and sending him flying back - this time into a nearby palmtree. Once he's fallen, he doesn't get up.]

{Takeshi cries out and manages to pull himself to his knees to crawl towards him slowly.}

<[. . . There's a tiny hint of movement. . . but even that little spark of hope will be crushed before your eyes. Literally. The large feline sauntered closer to the fallen storm, eying him with distaste. . . Before slamming that large paw down into Gokudera. The Shadow!Feline's shape shifts once more into Gokudera's, looking down over the broken body with a snort. He looks up at Yamamoto now with a little smirk.]

". . . Guess it's pretty stupid to reject yourself, don't you agree, Takeshi?"

[. . .and then the Shadow took off into the fog, leaving you there with the fallen Storm Guardian. Uri had just given a pathetic little mewl, moving to Gokudera's side, then looking up at Yamamoto and giving another sad little mewl.]>

{Takehsi chokes on his own sobs as he crawls to Gokudera's broken form and pulls Uri into his arms. He leans against the tree and cries until the darkness form his head injury takes him.}

[Well, he'd finally ran into someone. . . But it was looking like it was a little too late. . . He looked away from the body on the ground and to the other male against the tree grabs his attention. The other seemed to still be alive so. . .]

" . . .Jiraiya! . . .Dia!"

[A strange figure appears in front of the teen, before a gentle light covers you, healing the wound. . . He hadn't figured that would wake you up. . .But it should at least help that nasty head wound you've got there.]

". . . Man. . . That Shadow really did a number on you guys. . . Better get you somewhere safe. . ."

[. . And with that he's going to take you to his apartment - there's some difficulty, what with you being bigger than he was. . . But he'll manage it somehow.]
