[He looked down to the cat in his arms.]

". . .Uri. . .I. .. don't know what's wrong with him. . ."

[The fact that he was missing a little of his own soul he was both oblivious to and found it unimportant compared to his concerns for Uri.]

..-! [Nope, didn't take long to see what the problem was at all] That's...

[It was unlikely it was just a coincidence, but just to make sure] You didn't see anyone recently, have you?

[A slight pause there.]

" . . Ah. . Yeah. . . Revya."

[A bit of a concerned look there. So he was around ~~But why was he attacking people~~]... I was afraid of that.

[.. s-sigh] Your cat should be fine within a day or so. It doesn't seem like he was bitten into that deeply.

". . . 'bitten'. . .?"

[. . .Oh, what the hell. He was fairly certain that Uri hadn't been bitten.]

.. Revya apparently ate a bit of his soul.

[He held the cat a little closer at that.]

" . .His. . soul?"

It's.. not like him to be like this, though.[Of course there was the same similar thing that happened to Giotto, So what was going on..]

". . . What ever. He had better hope he doesn't run into me again though."

[His tone is sharp as he holds Uri close. It was so strange for the cat to be so . . . unresponsive. He didn't like it at all.]

[Yeah, there might've been a felt of pain there. Since after all, one way or another, she had something to be blamed for all of this too] ... Something is not right here at all.

". . .I'd tell you where he was if I knew, but he just vanished after he did this."

[No surprise there.]... I guess I'll just have to try near here then. He couldn't have gotten far.

[Was the only lead there was right now anyway]

[He'll be starting to open his apartment door now, looking back at you one last time.]

". . . You'd better tell him that he'd better stay the fuck away from Juudaime and I if he knows whats good for him once you find him."

[His tone is sharp, cold and a bit dangerous, really.]

[Yeah that.. didn't exactly settle in well.]

Are you seriously going to be like that without even knowing the truth?

". . . Just the fact he would do something like that to a cat when there were other ways of dealing with it. Besides, I don't care. Just the fact that he could end up doing something like that to Juudaime is enough to make me want to keep him away. I will not allow Juudaime to end up the same way as Uri."

If Revya seriously wanted to harm either of you, you wouldn't even be standing here right now.

I'm just sayin', there might be another explanation to this.

". . . I really don't care about what explanation he might have. It was an accident, I could tell but even so. What if he were to accidentally do that to Juudaime? I'm not going to risk it. I didn't like him to begin with anyways."

[. . At least he's honest about it?]

[Some time after you've gotten that explanation from Layna, he walks in the door himself. He has yet to find out about that virus mess, but there's still the feeling something fairly serious was missed... And the state of what was formerly the bakery only proves that. Therefore, he's been working on tracking people down to check on them.]

[Gokudera had settled himself in the living room and that's where he could be found when you came in - he was still cradling Uri in his arms. He looked up at the sound of the door opening though and stood once he heard his name and saw who it was.]

" . . . Juudaime. . ."

[. . . and the younger one to make things even better. He'll offer you a very slight smile in greeting, though it wasn't quite reaching his eyes. Despite whatever Layna had said, he still couldn't help but be worried for Uri.]

[A concerned look crosses his features, and he'll be moving to your side as soon as he gets the door shut. There's a pause to look you over and make sure you're fine before he asks.]

" . . Uri attacked Revya. . ."

[He brushed the feline with the hand not supporting him.]

" . . . and as for anything beyond that. . . I don't know. . ."

[. . He too noticed that something had to have happened but he had no idea just what that was. He's as in the dark about that as you are.]

And he went that far... [It's definitely not like Revya, which worries him, but he's not going to seek the other out. Even on a good day Revya generally avoids him, so he's definitely not going to push the issue now.]

I was going to ask around about things after I found everyone, but... [Now he'd sort of prefer to just stay with you.]

" . . I was told he'll be better in a day or so. . ."

[Regardless, it's still obvious that he's concerned about the poor cat. He'll be looking at you after your last sentence.]

". . . I would be willing to bet that the Primo knows what happened."

[. . .even he couldn't have missed what happened to the bakery.]

" . .. Or one of our future selves."

[He wouldn't argue with you staying with him though - he did love your company. He'd probably follow if you went anywhere anyways. If Revya was acting weird, he definitely didn't want you running into him.]

That's good then. [Especially since, due to the connection, it must have had some effect on you, too. Nothing's particularly noticeable other than the worry, but even so...]

Mm, I was thinking the same thing. [There's a nod to the suggestions, and he's going to consider things a moment before offering a slight smile.]

But if it's already over, then it can wait a little bit.

[He pets the feline a little more, looking up at your words. When you offer a smile, he returns it slightly, nodding.]

"Alright." [If you wanted to wait, then far be it for him to complain. He clearly didn't mind.]

[Which is fortunate, as he suddenly feels like being a little bit clingy. He's going to take a seat on the couch before sighing softly.]

Besides, we don't seem to get that much downtime together... [There aren't too many real breaks, whether it's here or at home. Not to mention the island's apparent age bias.]

[There wasn't even a slight moment of hesitation as he made to follow you, sitting next to you on the couch. He's definitely not going to argue with you on this, as any time spent with you alone is preferable to him. ~~Not that he'd argue with anything you say anyways, but you know. Not the point here.~~ He'll just be making himself comfortable beside you. The fact that he was on your right may or may not have been intentional. Knowing him, however, this was probably intentional. He moved the unresponsive feline gently to his lap, watching him a moment before looking back to Tsuna.]

". . . Y-Yeah. . . I am glad though. . . To at least be able to spend some time with just us."

[. . .and yeah. A few moments calm by your side is definitely appreciated on his end.]

[Once you get settled, he'll brush his fingers gently across Uri's back and lean a little bit closer before relaxing again. Despite your volatile attribute, you're really sort of the comforting presence he relies on most. It's easy, because you've always been around since the beginning of all the mafia insanity. Even when he got thrown into the future, you were the first one to show up there, too--both older and younger. Always there to offer support no matter what, apparently...]

Mm, things don't seem so bad in this case...

[It may have seemed like a random thing to say. . but . . He really felt like it needed to be said. Well, admittedly he had a lot of other things he wanted to say. . .But they were never really that easy for him to say.]

[He doesn't appear to mind if it was random or not, and considering what he was just thinking, it...really doesn't seem to be. In fact, while the subject is up, he's going to go ahead and voice what he was considering just a few moments ago. The smile you get in return is a little shy.]

I'm glad that you're here, too. No matter what happens, I can...always count on that. [And it's that simple. Even if a lot of things always seem to go wrong despite your best efforts and you're always worrying about letting him down, in the ways that really matter most to him, you never fail.]
